June 25, 2012 It is hot here!

It's really hot here! Like the past week it has been over 105 degrees and there is a fire in the mountains..

The quinceanera was fun! I loved it!! I feel like my mission is in Mexico because in Westminster there is a ton of Hispanic people.

Yesterday the bishop in my last ward I served in, his son died.  He was 17 and i played ball with him a lot.  He died in a lake ...drowned it's kinda crazy. I'm try not to let it get me down.

I have a baptism on the 7th (on Landon's expected bday) and his name is Ephraim. and we have a lot of new investigators we are trying to work with.  I will send you pictures of Meadow.   

June 11, 2012 My face is ok!

lol My face is ok.  It has healed up nice. I have been taking care of it.  I  should be getting your package you sent today because missionaries are telling me I got a huge pakage in the office.  I'm going to stop by and grab it today.  The kids are going up so fast. One of the good things is when I crashed, it was in front of a members home that did not come to church or talk to people from the church.  But now we talked to him because he came out to check on me. haha We had a baptism on Sat. and another one a week ago.  I have 11 baptisms now and 1 set up here in a few weeks.  His name is Ephraim. Red Leaf Ward is great, the members are impressed that were baptizing people like craze :) 

June 4, 2012 I crashed my bike!!!

Well this week I crashed my bike really bad!  They were going to take me to the hospital but I told Sis. Toombs, no!!!!! by the way the helmet has blood all over it!!!  I have a gash under my eye so the helmet didn't help. I flew off my bike and hit my face on a rock.I then rolled half way across the yard. There are pics and videos.  I'll send them later.  And I'm going to have a baptism this week! :) 

It's all on video. I blacked out for a second. I crashed hard! I was flying down the road and tried to hop the curb,  that's all I can remember because I was on my back looking up and people running to see if I was ok. I was laughing so hard after. 

The guy that is getting baptized name is Gio and he is 16.  He likes us a lo,t and we spend a lot of time with him.  He bore his testimony yesterday and so did another investigator, he will be baptized next month.  :)

Hey mom I can't email you on your bday because the library will be close. i will try to find a way to email you though!  I love you, happy birthday!

My area is small that's why it's a bike area. I love Elder Cowley from phx arizona and the area is way close to denver ...a lot of hispanic people but we are finding new investigators like crazy!

I love Westminster, I'm so close to the mission office.  Mom you don't have to worry its safe.

I had to give a talk because somebody bailed out so that was fun. I love the ward, they have not had a baptism in 2 years! We went tracting and set somebody with a date to be baptized right on the spot. They didn't come to church so we got to work hard with her.  Her name is Flower.
The ward is ok about feeding us, we are going to have dinner on fri or sat this week. It's not as good as the last ward they had a waiting list hahaha
I'm in a library, they dont like us using members computers. The people in the area are sweet, I love the hispanic people. I was playing football with some kids in a trailer park and then talked to them about the chuch. They love missionaries.   I need to start learning spanish. :)  Bye! <3 u!

May 21, 2012 Getting Transferred!

So I am going to red leaf ward in Westminster, CO  The smoke in the air is killing my eyes. It's close to where we live. So far no bears yet haha I will probably get on tomorrow as well. My new companion is Elder Cowely from Arizona. 
I'm closer to the city but its still nice here. The area seems nice. my companion, Elder Cowley is cool we get along well and yes I am still on bike. I miss the last area but its time to move on to more things. 
We live with members, the whole mission but one area in like Greely that do not live with members. I haven't met any members yet, we just got there last night so .... but were going to go see some today.   Me and my companion got sweeped into this area, so we both don't know the area. Elder Cowley has been out for a year. They pulled the sisters out of Red Leaf Ward and put me and Cowley in there. He has only 1 baptism, I told him that will have to change  :)

Wow! now we look more getto with the window. (I told him our car window fell and it won't roll up, so we have been using a tarp to cover the window) yay I'm glad Tyler wrote some letters and ya I wrote Nathanael back.  

I'm baptizing the family tomorrow, I'm so nervous. I have never done this before. Josh is getting baptized June 9th, but you know how it goes it never is the date we set them for hahaha How is muffin doing?

I wear my helmet now, mom. :)  Poor Dad, I will have to read his story. So the baptism has been put off to May 8th so 5 people could be baptized.   This way the whole family can be on the same day. Yesterday we set somebody for June 2nd thats was really cool. I definitely need to read that article so on friday. (article in the New Era about his best friend Christian Guerra) I'm going to the temple ...if i can find a ride im trying to meet up with a bunch of missionaries.

Letter from a ward member in Loveland

Hi Sister Seawell,

This is Sister Baer.  Your son is staying with us right now while he is staying on his mission.  I have wanted to write to you for some time now to let you know how much our family and this ward loves him.  He is a great example.  He has great faith.  He is a hard worker.  I also want you to know, he loves and appreciates his mother very much.  Over the past years, we have had the great privilege of having missionaries stay with us.  This is not always an easy task.  I have seen many missionaries over the years.  I probably should not have favorites, but Elder Seawell will probably be my favorite so far.  This is because of his great dedication to the Lord.  From what I see, he is completely obedient.  He spends all of his time working.  If he gets back to the home and it is still too early, he says, "We are going back out.  There is still time to see a few more families."  He is also a good example to my children.  He has a positive attitude.  He is forgiving and nonjudgmental.  He is humble.  He is easy-going.  (You see?  I cannot say enough.)

Now Elder Seawell has shared with me that he has struggled through many obstacles.  He also shares with me that you, his faithful and loving mother, never gave up on him.  I want to know that many lives in this area have been and will be blessed because of your dedication to the Lord.  I want to thank you personally for your great faith and good example to him.  He speaks so highly of you.  You give me great encouragement as I raise my 6 children.  It is not always easy.  

I have a great testimony of the Lord's work here on this earth.  I know that He carries out His work through faithful and obedient missionaries, like your son.  I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to help these young men in any way that I can.  They bring a holy spirit into my home.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything I can do for you.

Sis. Baer is great!

Sis. Baer is so cool, she spoils us!!! lol The Sabatos family is doing good there are all exited to get baptized on the 28th. I will get to baptize them which is crazy because nobody on the mission does that because they have a friend or relative to do it. We found them tracking so it does work ...sometimes haha I did get the package from both of you.  Elder Kautai says thanks for the candy haha he loves it!

I'm staying in Loveland

I'm not getting transferred!! I will be in this area for like 6 months. I'm ok with that, we're baptizing a family on the 28th. We had to push it back. Easter was good, I got candy from tons of people at church.  Oh and by the way Pres. Toombs came out last week and told us we could email friends if we email family and him first.  I'm 160 pounds, now im getting fat!!!!!!!!!! I hope its all muscles from biking for like 5 months!  To be honest my clothes are getting little tight.

It's snowing on Nathanael's birthday!!!

Did you get my message about the baptism? Chaz is getting baptized April 21, 2012 and so is Meadow, but I fear i'm leaving next week. I have been here for almost 5 months. Tell grandma I have two baptisms on her birthday!  I'll find out Saturday if I getting transferred. Guess what? Its snowing on Nathanael's bday here.  Snow sucks!!! :)


I loved conference.  I watched all sessons WITHOUT SLEEPING!  I just sent a letter to Tab about that baby in the mail. I hope she meets with the elders.

That's so cool about that guy (a fireside Tyler and Nathanael went to the speaker serve his mission the same place as Madison) served here  in Denver.   I'm in Fort Collins right now haha lol  I am sending pictures did you get them yet? I hope and pray that Tab and Jason will come to church, so that baby can live with them forever! I'm glad she is having a boy but I can wait for her to have a girl.  :)  I think that's about it.  I got a letter from Elder Smith (a missionary that served here and is home now) he is getting married, that bum!  I told him to wait!!  haha

lol Jerry is crazy! hahaha I love him.  :)  (I was telling him some of the comment made on Facebook about his pictures) if you see stoup the poop tell her I said hi. (Taylor Stoup said hi on Facebook)
Elder Kautai is awesome and we have fun!  I work way hard with him. It's crazy were finding people like crazy. He has a sleeping disorder so he has to take a nap or he will sleep all day its kinda funny.  :) 
I'm so glad Tab is safe. (a diabetic pregnancy test).  My companion is district leader,  so we have exchanges today after p-day. I'm going with Boyd Lake Ward they're Spanish speaking. They're so funny it will be fun!  haha  Elder Kautai is Tongan.

I haven't got mail in a while because the mission office holds it till after transfers, by the way I'm getting a new
comp!!!!!!!!!!!!!  his name is Elder Kautai("cow-tie" that is how you say it) he is Polynesian. I think from Tonga. I'm way happy to have him as my new companion.  I'm still in the same area though and Elder Kautai is district
leader.  Pres. Toombs said to help him out.  That's so funny about Chad hahaha I wanna 4 wheeler so bad. That's cool about Nathanael going out with the missionaries.  Whats new with Ty?  I'm scared he might go down the
same path as me, keep a close eye on him.  I did write Matthew. I don't know why I would go dummy probably because your family is weird and i thought if I don't move they will leave me alone hahaha. I was talking to
Sister Baer last nigh,t she is soooooo cool. I love her, she is like my new mom on the mission. I talked to her last night about you and said this Sunday was hard because for some reason I felt bad about everything I put you and dad through. I love you guys so much I'm sorry you had to deal with me, Tab, and Tyler. That we were hard kids to take care of, but Sister Baer told me that it's ok because we told you we would be hard in the pre-earth life and you knew it too. You were ok with that. (I told him he must have been mumbling so didn't know what he was telling me) so I don't know,  I'm really sorry and I love you guys so much for everything that you do. Elder Thompson is staying in the stake, he is just going to another ward.

P-days and stuff Feb. 13, 2012

I don't get a lot of description with these pictures, I guess I'll have to make up my own stories! 

Here I go... Once upon a time I was a Missionary who got attacked by a bear in the wild west. I ran from the cattle, but did the Mountain Dew head bump with the Ram. I then found a friendly bear that knew I was tired of riding my bike so he gave me a ride to my next appointment. I was very proud of my new basketball shoes so I had to show all angles of the shoe! You probably didn't know that I was some kind of super hero, or maybe a thug who knows!!! We came across some kind of fossil rat. I got mad at my companion and went crazy, (do you think they will find the knife???) Oh! and I am secretly a terrorist that likes to TP cars! I came across another missionary that Time travels??? I'm pretty happy here in Colorado! Yes! I am a Super Hero!!!
